Digital Photography Workshop for Youth: Visual Storytelling with Ebti Nabag

Presented in association with the exhibition 'Three-Thirty'

This two-part online workshop for youth will introduce photography as a tool for storytelling and creative self-expression. Participants will use their digital cameras to capture images that reflect their feelings and lived experiences. Working towards creating a photo series, artist facilitator Ebti Nabag will lead participants through technical instruction and theory.

Part one (April 21, 5 - 7 pm) will focus on visual storytelling and the elements of design: lighting, framing, composition, and more.

Part two (April 28, 5 - 7 pm) will focus on editing and presentation.

This program is free, and open to youth ages 14 – 17. Participants can use any kind of device that has a digital camera, including phone, iPad or tablet, or webcam. Participants should plan on attending both days of the workshop. Registration is limited.

Upon registration, participants will be provided with a Zoom link for the workshop.
