tókša | I Will See You Again Curatorial Talk & Beading Workshop

Curator Caitlyn Bird leads a tour of tókša | I Will See You Again, discussing artist Jaida Grey Eagle’s works and the curatorial framing of the exhibition.

Bird will then facilitate a workshop that introduces participants to beading techniques inspired by Grey Eagle’s beaded fringe earrings. In many Indigenous communities, beadwork has long been an act of sustainability, care, and connection, as well as a powerful form of storytelling. This workshop shares this practice and tradition with participants, providing an experiential learning opportunity that deepens the connection to Grey Eagle’s works.

No prior beading experience is required. All materials will be supplied.

Free, open to the public. Registration required. Light refreshments will be served.
