Love, Scarborough

The Doris McCarthy Gallery held “Love, Scarborough,” a celebration for the Scarborough Arts community. Community members, artists, and creatives were invited to spend an evening rejoicing the work of Scarborough residents and forging new connections. As DJ SAF filled the gallery with music, artist, teacher, and organizer Hiba Abdallah shared her book Dear Scarborough. Compiled throughout the exhibition, It can only be this place, in the fall of 2018 at the Doris McCarthy Gallery, Dear Scarborough, is a collection of open letters from the public and four short stories by Scarborough writers Tiffany Schofield, Carrianne Leung, Adrian De Leon and Victoria Gibson-Billings.
