Our Future Beings

This drop-in artmaking session is an invitation to imagine and create beings of the future that have evolved to confront the challenges of our world. Drawing inspiration from Rajni Perera’s vibrant, mutated figures adorned in protective ancestral armour and gear, participants will design their own characters and beings that embody adaptation, resilience, and hope. Guiding prompts, templates, and materials will be provided. Participants are also welcome to bring their own journals and sketchbooks.

Free, open to the public, no registration required. This is a relaxed program, participants are welcome to drop in for as long as they'd like. After the session, we encourage you to post the creations and tag the gallery on Instagram: @dmg_utsc
