Join us to celebrate the opening of it's because of the shimmer, the verge, and the yet, including remarks by artist Erika DeFreitas and curator Sandy Saad-Smith. Light refreshments will be served and a cash bar will be offered. Taking place during UTSC's annual Homecoming event, this is a homecoming for DeFreitas, a UTSC alum who is returning to campus to present her largest solo exhibition to date.

This is a relaxed reception, attendees are welcome to come and go as they need. Admission is free and open to the public, all are welcome. The gallery is wheelchair accessible. If you have other accommodation needs, please contact dmg.utsc@utoronto.ca.
