Film Screening of TRACES

Curated by Jesse Cumming

Just as TEMPERAMENTAL calls to mind questions of immersion and synesthesia, this program looked at traces and how they might serve to shift and bridge boundaries. Several works in TRACES ground themselves with the blurring of media and medium, in some cases in response to the shock of the new or the spectacular while others attempt to activate the distant past.
