Collection in Conversation: Aaron Jones and Noor Khan
Presented in partnership with the U of T Scarborough Library
Aaron Jones and Noor Khan will discuss the ways in which artists provide peer support and mentorship, and strategies for approaching this in a way that is productive and sustainable.
This talk is presented as part of the ongoing series Collection in Conversation, in which artists with works in the Doris McCarthy Gallery Collection participate in discussions about their work, practice, and approach to artmaking, with other contemporary artists.
Aaron Jones' work Seeing Knowledge (2020) was acquired by the Doris McCarthy Gallery in 2023. Noor Khan was the 2023-2024 DMG x Nuit Connects Artist-in-Residence.
This program is free and will take place in the Student Lounge at the University of Toronto Scarborough Library. Space is limited, registration is required. If you have accommodation needs, please let us know through the registration form or contact dmg.utsc@utoronto.ca. The Student Lounge is wheelchair accessible, and this is a seated program.
