Children's Artmaking Workshop: Orbits & Cycles

The DMG recently welcomed the kindergarten class from N'sheemaehn Child Care Centre, for an exhibition tour and artmaking session. After a tour and discusison of lois andison: relay – with particular interest in the interactive kinetic work 1,000 catastrophes (2009) – the children created their own kinetic artworks, constructed drawings that shifted from day to night, inspired by the themes of orbiting and cycles in the exhibition.
