ACM Visiting Speaker Series: Nástio Mosquito

A multimedia and performance artist working across music, video and spoken word, Nástio Mosquito plays with African stereotypes in western contexts, often using himself as a central figure through which to question his own role as well as that of the audience. His work makes powerful political and social statements, and can be discomforting at first glance. Mosquito will present two videos and discuss his multidisciplinary practice.
