Reminiscence: A Sound Walk

An ambient and poetic response to 'Nostalgia Interrupted', intended to be experienced outdoors

This audio composition is intended to experienced while walking outdoors. Created by DMG Educator-in-Residence Natalie Asumeng in response to the exhibition NOSTALGIA INTERRUPTED (September 15 - December 10, 2022), this soundscape fuses ambient music and spoken word to provide a meditative experience, questioning and exploring what nostalgia means to us individually. Using a poetic approach, the work encourages reflection about what it truly means to wish for the past to come back to the present.
