Newcomer Week: Gods Among Us Artist Talk + Conversation

Presented in partnership with Toronto Arts Foundation’s Neighbourhood Arts Network for Newcomer Week 2021, 'Gods Among Us' artist Esmond Lee gives an artist talk and slide presentation about his ongoing project, sharing more about his process and research, and providing a preview of the upcoming public installation of the work at Malvern Town Centre (part of the CONTACT Photography Festival). This talk is followed by a conversation with Scarborough-based writer Sabra Ismath that further explores ideas of community and belonging.
